A 53-year-old Nigerian woman identified as Taiwo has been declared missing by the Metropolitan Police Service, United Kingdom.

The Bexley Borough Police in a tweet via their verified page noted that the said woman was last seen on December 1, 2022.

The police further asked anyone who comes in contact with her to call 999 quoting 22MIS042779

The post reads: “MISSING – Please help us locate #missing 53yr old Taiwo. Last seen at 12.00hrs on 01/12/22. Missing from #crayford Description – 5ft9, braided hair, last seen wearing black jacket, black trainers carrying Sainsburys bag. Any info or sightings please call 999 quoting 22MIS042779.” 

Woman Conspires With Lover, Buries Newborn Baby Alive

Meanwhile, 30-year-old woman, Balaraba Shehu and her 25-year-old lover, Amadu Sale alias Dan Kwairo have been arrested by the police for burying their newborn baby alive in Kiyawa Local Government Area of Jigawa State.

The State Police Spokesman, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, while sharing more details on the incidence revealed that the command exhumed the corpse of the newborn baby on 02/12/2022, at about 2350hrs, after Balaraba of Tsurma village in Kiyawa LGA was suspected to have given birth and buried the newborn baby alive.

The spokesman said that command mobilized it’s security operatives to the crime scene after receiving a report.

Shiisu explained that after arriving the scene, the detectives swung into action and exhumed the new born baby buried in the toilet.

The PPRO said the suspect was arrested and the baby was rushed to General Hospital Dutse and certified dead by a medical doctor.
