List Of Top PDP Leaders At Lagos Presidential Campaign Rally

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar on Monday stormed Lagos State for a campaign rally ahead of the 2023 election.

The PDP candidate had in his entourage his running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, the party’s national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, and many other top PDP stalwarts.

Taking to his Twitter account, Atiku in a personally signed statement revealed a summarized detail of what he told the supporters who attended the rally held at the Tafawa Balewa Square.

The former Vice President said the rally was an opportunity to speak to Lagosians, adding that he assured them that the state has a lot to benefit if PDP returns to power in 2023.

Some of the areas he pointed out the state will benefit include restructuring, infrastructure development, and empowering startups.

He wrote on Twitter: “Our #RecoverNigeria movement landed in Lagos today, and it was an opportunity to speak to Lagosians about my long relationship with the city of Lagos.

“I assured our supporters in Lagos that when the PDP returns to power after the federal and state elections, Lagosians have a lot to benefit from our policies ranging from restructuring, infrastructure development and empowering startups to create more opportunities that will engender economic growth and development. -AA”
