APC Holds Solidarity Rally For Tinubu In USA

The Lagos State Government has again announced the diversion of road for the upcoming campaign walk of the All Progressives Congress (APC) slated for Wednesday (today).

Naija News reports that the diversion of road is coming barely five days after the state government announced a similar development last week Saturday when the APC held its campaign rally for it’s presidential candidate Bola Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere.

In an advisory issued by the state
Commissioner for Transportation, Frederic Oladeinde on Tuesday, Lagos residents have been urged to plan their movement around the Trade Fair to Iyana-Iba, along Lagos-Badagry Expressway corridor as travel time might drag more than expected.

The Lagos government said the ‘Ring out the Vote’ event by the APC campaign team would embark on the walk at about 7 am along that corridor.

Oladeinde, in the advisory, told motorists using the Lagos Badagry Expressway to to connect Iyana-Iba from Abule-Ado.

The commissioner explained that motorists are to pass through the Main Carriageway and continue on the Service Lane from LASU Gate to their destinations.

He assured residents that the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) personnel had been deployed for traffic management.
