The former Inter Milan forward was spotted training with Cameroon players yesterday before the World cup tie against Switzerland.

The Indomitable Lions who lost to Murat Yakin were spotted training hard with the Cameroonian football administrator.

The 41-year-old, however, expressed his excitement as he posted on his Twitter page with a caption.

“Never passing up on the opportunity to boot up ⚽️Great to have spent our final pre-match training session with the Indomitable Lions. We’re ready” he wrote.

At Barcelona, where he spent most of his career, the 41-year-old won multiple championships, including La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.

He was also a standout at Inter Milan, as he helped the Italian powerhouses win a historic treble in 2010.

Cameroon Boss Waives FIFA World Cup Ranking Ahead Of Group C Opener

Meanwhile, Cameroon Manager, Rigobert Song, has emphasised that when his team plays Switzerland in the first game of Group C, FIFA rankings won’t matter much.

The Indomitable Lions’ current global ranking of 43 places them well behind their opponents Switzerland, who are placed 15.
