Four South-South governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Wednesday, met in Bayelsa State to discuss some issues of urgent national interest.

Naija News reports that the governors at the meeting are Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta, Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom, Godwin Obaseki of Edo, and Duoye Diri of Bayelsa State.

One of the key issues discussed at the meeting was that all the governors in attendance are fully aligned with the PDP’s mission to recover Nigeria for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Also at the meeting, it was agreed that the governors will work towards consolidating and reconciling all key leaders and stakeholders in the party ahead of the 2023 elections.
