The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will on Thursday meet with private sector stakeholders comprising investors, manufacturers, and traders in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

Governor Hope Uzodimma made this known while speaking with journalists on arrival at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport, Owerri on Wednesday.

The governor, who is also the APC Coordinator for South East Presidential Campaign Council, said the engagement is in preparation for the APC campaign rally in the state in the coming days.

Uzodinma, therefore, encouraged all APC members in the state to be part of the above programmes.

He also advised the Igbo to be part of the government of Nigeria at the centre by keying into the agenda of the APC, adding that the party’s policies are already a success story in Imo.

“The only way to be part of Nigeria is being part of the government at the centre, and the government at the centre is controlled by APC,” he maintained.

Uzodimma said that he has not seen any political calculation that shows that the ruling party will lose the 2023 general elections.

He said: “In Imo State, there are things to show why all and sundry should encourage APC.

“And you don’t change the winning team as APC is winning in Imo State and other states of the Federation, so it should continue.”
