Fani-Kayode Reacts To Tinubu’s Eight Key Appointments

A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, Femi Fani-Kayode has said that the prayer by his principal, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is based on biblical teachings.

Naija News recalls that on Tuesday, in the  presidential campaign rally in Jos, Plateau State the APC flag bearer had mistakenly prayed for PDP.

The viral clip showed the moment Tinubu was trying to say ‘God bless APC’ but erroneously said ‘God bless PDP.’

Speaking on the reactions from Nigerians via a tweet on Thursday, Fani-Kayode insisted that Tinubu’s action was divine.

He stated that the Holy Bible advices that people should show love to their enemies and pray for them.

He wrote, “The Bible says ‘pray for your enemies and show them love for it is like heaping coals of fire on their head: in doing so the Lord will REWARD you.’

“Glad that BAT prayed for the PDP. We repay their EVIL with GOOD so that, as the Bible says, ‘evil will never depart from their households’.”

Adamu Garba Defends Bola Tinubu’s Gaffe In Jos Rally

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamu Garba, has defended the gaffe made by the party’s Presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, recently.

Naija News recalls that Tinubu, after delivering his speech on Tuesday at the flag off of his presidential campaign in Jos, the Plateau State capital, mistakenly prayed for the opposition party.

The former Governor of Lagos State who suddenly realized he was mentioning the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) instead of his party, quickly corrected himself and mentioned the APC twice.

In a tweet accompanied by a video on his Twitter page on Wednesday, Garba argued that Tinubu’s mistake of referring to APC as PDAPC was a strategic approach.

The former presidential aspirant stated that Tinubu had been preparing for the presidential office for almost 30 years, hence, the reason for the slip-up.

He, however, condemned the public criticism of the gaffe as irresponsible, stating that half of the PDP members are working for the success of the APC candidate.

God bless PDAPC was a parabolic communication to those in the PDP that are tirelessly working for the success of APC. Tinubu is a genius!” he wrote.
