The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Wednesday, met with the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

Recall that the Christian body had opposed the Muslim-Muslim Presidential ticket of the ruling party, following Tinubu’s choice of the former Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima, as his running mate.

Naija News earlier reported that CAN President, His Eminence Daniel Okoh, had said the Christian body will be meeting with Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).

The CAN President had said the presidential dialogue is part of engagements for the forthcoming 2023 general election and to ensure that the APC standard bearer clearly understands the concerns of Nigerian Christians with a view to proposing policies and programmes to address them.
