Nigeria To Face Costa Rica In A Friendly Tie Next Month

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have announced that twenty players have arrived at the camp ahead of their international friendly against Portugal.

The team announced via their social media platform on Monday that some big names abroad have arrived at the camp and started training.

With 20 players officially in camp, the Super Eagles had virtually a full house in Lisbon on Monday night ahead of their international friendly against Seleção das Quinas.

On Monday night, Wilfred Ndidi, a midfielder for Leicester City, Moses Simon, a winger, and goalkeepers Maduka Okoye and Adebayo Adeleye all reported to camp.

However, Villarreal forward, Samuel Chukwueze, Cremonese’ Cyriel Dessers, and Francis Uzoho are still anticipated in camp.

On Monday night, the squad had its first practice with 19 players, as reported by the team on their official Twitter account: “Training done! 19 players in camp”

Jose Peseiro, the head coach, and his assistants oversaw the practice.

On Thursday, the Super Eagles will play Portugal at the Jose Alvalade Stadium in Lisbon.

Beginning at 7:45 p.m. Nigerian time, the game will begin.
