Ronaldo Plotting An Evasion Through Bayern Munich in Transfer Talk

Wantaway Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, is plotting a switch from Old Trafford to Bayern Munich.

According to reports, when the January transfer market opens, Cristiano Ronaldo plans to leave Manchester and has spoken with Bayern Munich about his plans.

Naija News recalls the recent controversial interview by the player took over the internet with the Portuguese stating while being questioned by Piers Morgan that he felt betrayed by the Red Devils.

He noted that the Dutch manager, Erik ten Hag, and the club administrators are attempting to oust him from the team.

Meanwhile, according to Sportsmail, Bayern executives travelled to England for negotiations last week, and Ronaldo and his agent, Jorge Mendes, attended.

Mendes made a valiant effort to lure Ronaldo away from United in the summer by pitching him to Bayern and a number of other teams, including Chelsea, Sporting Lisbon, and Napoli.

Last month, according to Daily mail, Mendes also talked with Newcastle about a move for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

Recall that the chief executive of Bayern, Oliver Khan, previously said in July that they had looked at signing Ronaldo, but claimed that he did not fit with the team’s “concept.”

Additionally, Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly, may provide Ronaldo with a route out of Old Trafford in January.

The American, who is good friends with Mendes, expressed interest in Ronaldo in the summer but was turned down by then-Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel.

Graham Potter, though, is reportedly unenthusiastic about the idea of signing the Portuguese talisman at this point in his career.
