Laughs As Osinbajo Sings Kizz Daniel's 'Buga’ At Tourism Conference In Lagos

After displaying his singing and dancing skills, the Vice President (VP), Yemi Osinbajo, got people laughing today in Lagos at the World Tourism Organisation global conference in Iganmu.

Naija News understands that the number two citizen, while addressing dignitaries at the conference, sang the popular Nigerian song ‘Buga’ by Kizz Daniel to buttress his point that music is a global language.

The VP’s demonstration got the attendees smiling and laughing as they also joined in chorusing the song at Osinbajo’s request.

He said, “Music, as we all know, is a global language. Even those who don’t know the meaning of the words of a song enjoy the rhythm. And some discover the lyrics’ meaning, discovering the cultures and ideas that inspire them.

“But let me just test that theory of mine, that is, that you don’t need to understand the words of any song to enjoy it and to be able to sing it and that music is indeed a very global language.”

A statement issued by the Rivers State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Alagbo Chris Finebone, said the new order comes into effect on Friday.

He added that before any residential building can be used as a campaign office, due permission and approval must be obtained from the Rivers State Commissioner for Urban and Physical Planning.

Naija News reports that executive order 22 also banned the indiscriminate posting of campaign flyers, bills, and posters in unauthorized places.

According to the statement, many public properties in the state have been defaced by the constant posting of banners, bills, and other campaign materials.
