Manchester City forward, Erling Haaland has named countries he feels are favourites to win the 2022 World Cup.

After an amazing start to life at Manchester City, Erling Haaland says he wishes he was at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, but he plans to utilise his time off to physically and psychologically recover.

Naija News recalls that the Norwegian forward revealed that he could have played for England but chose to play for Norway.

The goal machine claims that England are one of the favourites for Qatar, but he also acknowledges that they will have tough competition from Brazil, Argentina, and France.

The 22-year-old striker engaged in a response challenge with John Stones and Stefan Ortega before talking about the forthcoming competition.

The Norwegian forward revealed during the discussion and said, “’First of all, I wish I was playing in the World Cup of course. But, that’s reality now. I don’t do”

When asked who he believed would win the World Cup in Qatar, Haaland said that England was one of the favourites, but he also acknowledged that Brazil, Argentina, and France would be tough competitors.

“Favourites… I think the favourites should be Brazil, Argentina, France and maybe England. I cannot only say one, because there are so many good teams, so yeah, these four.”
