“Cristiano Is Sensible And Down To Earth” – Says Ex-Coach

Portuguese forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has been described as an intelligent player by his former coach.

Following the controversial interview about Manchester United that has taken over the internet, Jose Morais claims that the star is “sensible and down to earth”.

Naija News recalls that in the explosive interview, the player criticized the present situation at the club, and the managers he played for since his return.

He has received a tonne of criticism for agreeing to the interview, but the former Real Madrid assistant manager under Jose Mourinho, says the attacker is a blunt person.

Morais explained to A Bola: “Working with Cristiano was one of the best moments I have as a coach. He is a fantastic person and a stratospheric player.

“I don’t say ‘UFO’ because he is a human being. He would be more of a ‘Human of Unidentified Characteristics’. Such is the enormity of his ability and talent.

“To have a player like him, is to be a blessed coach. Cristiano is, without a doubt, a sensible and down to earth person.”

Morais also commented on Ronaldo’s present status at Manchester United as follows:

“I’m just saying that you have to be a special coach to train special players.

“Being a special coach implies knowing how to deal with situations like the one that is happening. Positive communication.

“The establishment of trust depends on factors that relate to the individual’s personal development. The best coach is better able to deal with these situations.” he said.
