Gunmen Kill Former LG Chairman’s Wife In Nasarawa

Unknown gunmen have reportedly shot dead the wife of a former Local Government Chairman in Nasarawa State.

It was reported that the deceased identified as Mrs Astira Akolo Ahmed Success was attacked by the gunmen while on her way to Assakio market at about 9 am on Monday, along Lafia- Shendam road.

According to Vanguard, Mrs Success was sitting on the passenger’s side of the car when gunmen opened fire on the vehicle.

The gunmen were targeting the driver when a bullet hit her.

Mrs Success until the saddened incident that led to her death was a renowned businesswoman with two children.

Meanwhile, her body has been deposited at a mortuary.

Sanwo-Olu Reacts To Death Of His Chief Of Staff Wife, Adedoyin Ayinde

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has reacted to the death of his Chief of staff’s wife, Adedoyin Ayinde, amidst the reports that she allegedly committed suicide.

Naija News earlier reported that Ayinde lost his wife to the cold hands of death on Sunday morning, 13 November in Lagos, just 24 hours after she returned from London where she had gone to birth her second child.

However, there are reports making the rounds online that Adedoyin allegedly committed suicide over her husband’s relationship with his secretary at the office.

In a statement shared on his social media page, Sanwo-Olu commiserated with the family of the deceased, stating it is a painful death but God can never be questioned.
