The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, on Friday met with the General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman.

The cleric disclosed the meeting in a post on his Twitter account on Friday.

Apostle Suleman, who shared a picture of the meeting, wrote, “Thank you @PeterObi for coming to the house, may God continually protect you in Jesus’ name.”

Obi in his bid to emerge as President in 2023 has met with different clerics and attended several church conventions.

The former Governor of Anambra State had visited the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, with the General Overseer preaching, Enoch Adeboye.

Obi in July met with the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church, popularly known as Winners Chapel, David Oyedepo, at the church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State.

Recall that Obi at a time in the year also attended a church service at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre and met with the founder, Paul Enenche.

The presidential candidate also attended a conference at the Methodist Church.

Obi’s visits to churches have stirred mixed reactions online, ahead of the 2023 elections, but the presidential candidate has, however, stated that his visits to churches are not for political reasons.
