Manchester City has been drawn against Liverpool, while Manchester United will face Vincent Kompany’s Burnley in Carabao Cup fourth round.

In the featured matchup of the fourth-round Carabao Cup draw, Manchester City will face Liverpool.

However, the anticipated event has been the topic of the premier league sports fans.

The majority of Liverpool supporters had thought the club had been put through a difficult test after being tied early against Real Madrid as a result of this campaign’s sluggish start in 2022–23.

Thus, after the World Cup in Qatar concludes, City will play at home to the current champions of the competition.

Wolverhampton will visit League Two Gillingham, who are now 22nd in the standings, while Manchester United will welcome Burnley to Old Trafford.

In the meantime, League One teams MK Dons and Brighton will visit Leicester and Brighton.

In addition, Southampton will be at home when League One’s Lincoln in the fourth round come visiting, while Nottingham Forest will travel to play Blackburn.

Just a few days after the World Cup final in Qatar on December 18, the eight matches will be played over the course of December 20–21.

Following the third-round exits of Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham, the draw ensures that, at the very least, just two of the Premier League’s “Big Six” will advance to the FA Cup quarterfinals.

These clubs’ exit will also allow teams like Newcastle, Leicester, and Brighton to have successful cup campaigns.

The full list of the Carabao Cup is as follows:

Wolves v Gillingham

Southampton v Lincoln

Blackburn v Nottingham Forest

Newcastle v Bournemouth

Manchester City v Liverpool

Manchester United v Burnley

MK Dons v Leicester

Charlton v Brighton
