Nollywood actor, Kenneth Okonkwo has said that his birthday wish is for Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi to win the 2023 election.

The thespian, who recently turned 54, asked God to grant the country fresh set of leaders which would result in a new beginning.

While thanking the Almighty for a new year he wished that God touches the hearts of the citizens so that they would unanimously cast their votes for the LP presidential candidate, Peter Obi in the 2023 polls.

The actor-cum-politician shared a photo spotting LP principal with his running mate alongside the caption that reads: “Happy birthday to me!

As it has pleased God to make me see a new year today, 6th of November, 2022, my greatest birthday wish is that God will give Nigeria a new beginning by making Nigerians to elect a new divinely ordained President and Vice President in Peter Obi and Datti Baba Ahmed come 2023.”

Saheed Balogun Campaigns For Bola Tinubu

Veteran Nollywood actor, Saheed Balogun has led his colleagues and entertainers to rally support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The group, under the Yoruba faction of Nollywood, paid a visit to Mudashiru Obasa, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly in a show of support for APC in the coming elections.

The lawmaker had received the actors and encouraged that them not to falter in their support for the party.

He said, “Our task is to involve people, enlighten them and make them see reasons why they should continue to support APC.

We know the group has always supported the party and we want them to continue.”

Speaking during the visit, Balogun disclosed the reason he feels Tinubu is the right candidate to become the president of Nigeria.

He said, “We see Tinubu as one who has done a lot to qualify as the next president of Nigeria and we hope to continue to release the presidential candidate’s achievements.

“We know the group has always supported the party and we want them to continue.”

Asiwaju has done well and it is time to pay back. Every successive government continues to build on his foundation.”

This group is not the first set of Nollywood actors and filmmakers endorsing Tinubu and the APC for the forthcoming election.
