“It Will Be A Disaster” – Utomi Says APC Or PDP Must Not Win 2023 Election

A chieftain of the Labour Party (LP), Professor Pat Utomi has said the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) owes Nigerians apologies and that is what it should be doing instead of organizing campaigns for the 2023 elections.

According to him, the APC led by President Muhammadu Buhari has performed woefully since coming into power in 2015 and there is nothing good it has to offer Nigerians again.

He added that the APC is so intellectually bereft that it is copying the plans and strategies of the Labour Party but has no plan to implement them.

Utomi said Nigerians are tired of the APC and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), arguing that for anyone of the two to return to power in 2023 “will definitely be a disaster for Nigeria.”

In his words, “Considering the abysmal and woeful performance of the APC, the party ought to be organizing rallies to apologize to Nigerians, rather than grandstanding and positioning itself for another electoral contest.”

He added that the party is “without any form of remorse,” after plunging Nigeria into so many problems.

According to Utomi; “The Nigerian people have spoken; they have said they are tired of this old order. They (APC) will wait for us to release our manifesto then they will copy it, add some things and come out and shout, “This is our manifesto’, but in their heads, they have no plans to implement them.”
