Nigerian comedienne cum actress, Helen Paul has recalled how she refunded money given to her by sponsors for adverts while  mourning the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke, son of Nigerian singer, Davido

Naija News reports that Nigerians both home and abroad mourned the passing of young Adeleke who died in a drowning accident at his father’s home in Banana Island.

Helen was amongst the celebrities who also took to her social media to mourn his death and consoled the bereaved family.

However, the actress who still haven’t recovered from the shock of the news, decided to suspend all activities on her page, taking a day off.

This action rattled some of her sponsors paying her some fee to display their products on her page.

According to Helen, they had told her, ‘life must go on’ whilst asking when she will be able to post their adverts.

The comedienne turn lecturer, said she, gently counted their money and gave it back to them.

‘I took a day off in respect of what happened. The message i was seeing on my phone is ”Sorry about what happened to David, but please when will you post my advert, there’s no time. I gently refunded their monies back. I know your life must go on. I’m not blaming you. It is well.”
