Qatar 2022: Arteta Reacts As Brazil Omits Gabriel

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has dismissed reports linking him with a move to Barcelona to replace fellow countryman, Xavi Hernadez.

As a result of Barcelona’s elimination from the Champions League in the group stages, questions have been raised about Xavi’s position at the team, but Arteta thinks the Spaniard is doing a good job.

The Spaniard has taken Arsenal from a fight for a top-six finish to a firm grip on the English Premier League lead.

If Arsenal wins the Premier League, it will shock all other Premier League teams, and the coach will be more sought after by other clubs to lead them to success.

Arteta, a player who progressed through Barcelona’s youth ranks, said to a reporter during a press conference, What I can say is that I’m extremely happy to proud to be where I am.

“Barcelona are in a really good path, they have a phenomenal coach, a coach who is a legend in the club and has lifted the whole place and I have to be very respectful of that.”

Martinelli Ready To Sign New Arsenal Deal

Meanwhile, one of Arsenal’s red-hot forwards, Gabriel Martinelli, claims he is content with life at the club and is just waiting for a pen to sign a new contract.
