Unknown gunmen have abducted the wife of the Commander of the Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad, Deputy Commandant Apollos Dandaura.

Naija News understands that the assailants also shot the Commandant’s younger brother shot in the attack that was carried out on Wednesday evening in Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa State.

It was gathered that the younger brother of Deputy Commandant, Apollos Dandaura, is currently receiving treatment at a private Hospital in Lafia and is said to be responding to treatment

The Commander’s wife was kidnapped around Shenge area of Lafia, the capital city of Nasarawa State.

Confirming the incident, the Public Relations Officer of the Nasarawa State Command of NSCDC, Jerry Victor, said that the where about of the victim was still unknown.

Security Operatives Kill Three Gunmen In Anambra State

Meanwhile, security operatives have neutralized three gunmen during a gun battle in Anambra State.

Naija News gathered that security operatives including the police and Military on Wednesday killed the three fierce-looking gunmen in combat.

The was reported to have happened at Umunze, Orumba South local government area.

The gunmen were also reported to have different charms on their bodies, including legs, necks, waists and hands.

Naija News understands that the gunmen were part of the group killing innocent citizens around the Orumba area.

All efforts to reach the Anambra Police spokesman Ikenga Tochukwu proved abortive, but one of the senior police officers in the Command confirmed the incident to the Nation newspaper.

He said a combined team of the Police and Military carried out the operation around 4:30 pm this evening.
