Nelson Reveals Why He ‘Never Doubted’ Himself At Arsenal

Arsenal youngster, Reis Nelson has stated that he never doubted his future at Emirates, and he looks forward to committing his future to the club.

Naija News recalls that the 22-year-old, came in for the injured number seven, Bukayo Saka, and scored twice as Arsenal defeated Nottingham Forest 5-1 to return to the Premier League summit.

After spending a year out on loan at Feyenoord, Nelson made his return to the league for the first time since the defeat to Brentford on the first day of last season.

The Englishman has put out a notice that he wants to give the team more outstanding performances as he tries to make his mark at Emirates while stepping out from under the shadow of players like Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.

“I’ve never doubted myself at this football club,” said the starlet.

“Arsenal is a team that I’ve been at since I was eight years old and I have a very, very strong bond and love for the club,” he stressed.

“Of course, there’s been times where I’ve been a bit down when I haven’t played or been on the bench, but my plan has never been for me to leave the club or say that I have no future here and I will do everything possible to get there.”
