Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid, has deleted a promotional tweet for his forthcoming album after the passing of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

Naija News earlier reported that Ifeanyi Adeleke reportedly died after drowning in a swimming pool at the family’s residence in Lagos, on 31st of October according to a family source.

“The boy was inside water for too long and they pulled him out and rushed him to the hospital,” the family source said.

By the time they rushed him to Lagoon Hospital it was already too late.”

A quick check at the Grammy award-winning singer’s microblogging, Twitter page showed that he has taken down the tweet.

Although, he has not made an official statement, the action is coming following the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke who drowned on Monday night.

Davido And Chioma Keeps Mum On Son’s Death

Meanwhile, Davido and his girlfriend, Chioma have failed to make any comments amidst reports alleging the death of their three year-old-son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

Naija News gathered that little Ifeanyi is rumoured to have died after drowning in a swimming pool at the family’s residence in Lagos, according to a family source.

Ifeanyi had only just turned three on October 20, 2022.

According to the reports, Davido was traveling to the U.S when the incident happened and Chioma was said to have traveled to Ibadan for an event and left the child with a female domestic staff member.

A close friend of the singer, Eniola Badmus, in a now-deleted post on Instagram, shared an emoji with a worrisome caption ”But Why” which triggered a barrage of emotions from both fans and celebrities alike. 

The singer welcomed Ifeanyi with fiancee Chioma on October 20, 2019.
