'Why Nunez And Haaland Comparison Is Unfair' - Robertson

Liverpool defender, Andy Robertson, has revealed that Darwin Nunez and Erling Haaland’s comparison is unjust.

The Scotsman has praised Nunez’s start to Liverpool since joining the Reds from Benfica last summer for a fee of £64.1million.

He went on to say that the comparison between the Uruguayan and City’s Haaland is inappropriate.

Naija News recalls that the former Liverpool forward recently broke the record for the quickest player in Premier League history.

However, the record signing may not have had the best season opener, but he still broke the record to become the fastest player.

Darwin Nunez scores heads in his sixth goal for Liverpool against Ajax

Recall that in Wednesday’s Champions League triumph over Ajax, the Uruguayan striker headed in a quick-fire double courtesy of Robertson’s corner.

Following his goal against Ajax, Nunez registered his Sixth goal which was accomplished over the course of 13 outings, only seven of which saw the 23-year-old forward start.

“Really it’s not fair on anyone – if it was vice versa, it wouldn’t be fair on Haaland either,” Robertson said. “It’s two incredible players, and we’re delighted to have Darwin here.

“He’s still young, which everyone forgets, and in front of goal, he’s been really clinical. I think he caused Ajax a lot of problems and they were always worried about him, and he got his goal that he definitely deserved.”
