Ooni Of Ife Officially Marries Sixth Wife, Temitope Adesegun In Grand Wedding Ceremony

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has officially married his sixth wife, Princess Temitope Adesegun, today, in a grand-style wedding ceremony.

Naija News reports that the event is currently being held at MRA community hall 15, Tokunbo Macaulay street, Magodo Phase 2 Shangisha, Lagos State.

In the videos which emerged online, Temitope was captured dancing inside the hall after which she met her parents for blessings.

Ooni Of Ife Welcomes His New Queen

In September 2022, the Ooni welcomed his new wife, Olori Mariam Anako into the palace of the Oduduwa.

Ooni’s new marriage comes barely seven months after his estranged wife, Naomi Silekunola announced their separation on social media.

This publication gathered that the arrangements for the new marriage started in March when Ooni sent a high-powered delegation to her family to request her hand in marriage.

The Ooni’s new wife is reportedly an Ebira lady in Kogi State, her mother hails from Erin-Ile in Kwara and her family lives in Ilorin.

Ooni Of Ife Marries Third Wife

On Sunday, 0ctober 9,2022, the Ooni welcomed his third wife, Tobi Philips to the palace amidst friends and family members who were in attendance for the special occasion.

Tobi has reportedly been dating the Yoruba traditional monarch for over six years before her official traditional marriage.

Ooni Of Ife Marries Fourth Wife

On October 14, 2022, Ooni married his long-time concubine, Princess Ashley Folashade Adegoke in a grand style wedding.

Ashley’s wedding ceremony is held at her late father’s family house situated on Olubose Street, along Ede road, IIe-Ife.

Like the usual norm, the Ooni was nowhere in sight at the wedding ceremony, however, his chiefs, the royal guards, and the royal staff were there to represent him.

Ooni Marries Fifth Wife, Ronke Ademiluyi

On October 20, 2022, Ooni tied the knot with his fifth wife, Princess Ronke Ademiluyi.

The event was held at Ile-Ife Osun State, among friends and family members.

Like his previous wedding, Ooni was visibly absent while the royal guards, palace chiefs, and royal staff were there to represent the Yoruba monarch.
