The Lagos Police PRO however assured that no effort will be spared in arresting and prosecuting the attackers.

The statement reads: “The Lagos State Police Command has commenced investigations into the attack on the campaign train of the PDP gubernatorial candidate in Lagos State, Olajide Adediran.

“It is imperative to clarify that the party notified DPO Badagry of the time and locations of their visits. Adequate security was provided.

“Furthermore, the command is awaiting from the victims a complaint/statement that would assist in the ongoing investigation.

“The assurance is hereby given that no stone will be left unturned to arrest and prosecute the attackers.”
