AS Roma Manager, Jose Mourinho Speaks On Osimhen’s Style Of Play

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has been characterised by Roma manager, Jose Mourinho as a player who can shine a spotlight on any opportunity in a game.

The Nigerian international scored the game-winning goal in Napoli’s 1-0 victory over Roma in Sunday’s Serie A match, and the Portuguese tactician boss voiced out his thoughts on the forward.

After receiving a route-one pass from Mateo Politano, Osimhen outmuscled Chris Smalling to hit a stunning shot from the most unlikely position.

Osimhen received praise from Mourinho for his ability to take advantage of every opportunity that comes his way in response to his performance.

“We have to be more decisive upfront, what lodges into the statistics are the shots on goal.

“Then I also look at the half opportunities, those that you have to transform into opportunities as Osimhen did,” the manager said.
