Oyo Park Chairman Lands In Court For Damaging Tinubu's Billboards

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has acknowledged the influence of the governors elected on the party’s platform.

Tinubu, while speaking during series of meetings with Ullamas and some pastors on Sunday, said that without the party governors, he would not have become the APC flag bearer.

The former Lagos State Governor opined that the dedication of the APC stalwarts has given him more courage and determination in gunning for the exalted seat.

He said, “You firmly stood by me at the hours of needs during the Primary Contests of our Party and that made me the Candidate of the APC and that is a great source of pride because others are still battling their governors.”

Speaking further, Tinubu said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that during their 16 years at the helms of power spent $16 billion on power, stressing that the nation is still facing frequent outages coupled with transmission failures.

PDP has spend 16 years ruling the nation but failed woefully to understand that power is the main economic driver without which one will be running a borrowed economic which would not make any impact on his citizens”, he added.

He subsequently urged the people not to vote in a candidate who spends 50% of his time in Dubai.
