Why I Want Peter Obi To Become Nigeria’s President- Kanayo O. Kanayo Spills

Veteran Nollywood actor, Kanayo O Kanayo has described the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, (LP) Peter Obi as the “best man to fix Nigeria,” adding that the LP candidate is humble and gives a listening ear.

Naija News reports that the 60-year-old actor on Wednesday declared his support for  Peter Obi during an interview on Solid FM 100.9 in Enugu State.

According to Kanayo, Peter Obi possesses the competence which Nigeria needs in this critical time.

“I know Peter Gregory Obi personally, he is a man that I can define in very few words, as humble, as a man who has a listening ear for everything. He has the character and competence Nigeria needs at this critical time.

“Peter Obi is the best man to fix Nigeria, I am Obidient, Obidient is better than sacrifice,” Kanayo added.

He joins other celebrities such as P-Square, Zubby Michael, Chidi Mokeme, Harry Anyanwu, Hilda Dokubo, amongst others, who have openly declared support for Obi.

Kanayo O Kanayo Cause A Stir With Special Handshake With Pete Edochie

Meanwhile, Nollywood actor, Alex Ekubo has reacted to a heartwarming video shared by his senior colleague Kanayo O Kanayo.

The video showed the moment Kanayo was seen doing the triple and gentle slapping of the right hands (Ina áká) with his veteran colleague Pete Edochie before bowing to greet him.

Pete responded to Kanayo’s show of respect with a gentle pat on his back while praying for him.

Edochie and Kanayo are known for the ritualist role they often play in movies.

Other Nollywood stars such as Keppy Ekpenyong Bassey and Femi Branch were also seen in the video.

Reacting to the video in a hilarious manner, Alex said that the duo had renewed their vows.

He wrote, “Convenant renewed. Nna Anyi I see what you did there. This December ga Adi Kpor Kpor”
