Rico Swavey Buried Amidst Tears

Former Big Brother Naija Season 3 Housemate, Rico Swavey, has finally been laid to rest.

Naija News reports that the reality TV star was buried today, Thursday, October 20, 2022, barely one week after his death.

Recall that Rico passed away last Thursday morning, days after he was involved in a ghastly accident in Lagos.

His girlfriend, Caroline Morgan, who shared short footage of his burial online recounts how she was hoping for a miracle to happen during the ceremony.

Caroline said, she has finally accepted the reality of Rico Swavey’s death and she is saying goodbye to him.

She wrote: “I’m here to say my final goodbye, we laid you to rest fews hours ago, I shivered badly under the rain hoping for a miracle, but it didn’t happen, I thought the rains was trying to show a sign, but I guess I was wrong.

“It’s time to let you go, its time to finally say my last goodbye, it’s time to finally say my last goodnight, just so you know your memories will forever be in my heart and head, watch over your families, genuine friends, and my coconut head too. Nacho!!!! from caroline.”

Meanwhile, in a post shared on Instagram, Alex Unusual reminisced on the moments Rico shared with them and how he taught everyone to smile and be happy.

According to her, many of the BBNaija stars are still broken and crying uncontrollably following the death of Rico.

She said it is hard for boys to cry but it is not the case for Tobi, because he is wrecked over the tragic incident.

She wrote: “You would have wanted us all to be happy. We will stay happy for you. This world is stressful anyway. You can rest now my fresh boy.

“You came into our lives, taught us to smile and you left. I’ll understand all this soon I hope. Today is a remembrance of a day Nigeria failed a lot of us. We bury you today 20th October. God give us the strength. I’ll love you forever Rico.”
