The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has created new directorates in the fresh list of the Presidential Campaign Council.

Naija News reports that the ruling party had on Wednesday night released a fresh list of its Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) ahead of the 2023 general elections.

In the fresh list signed by the APC National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore, the ruling party created at least seven more directorates which were headed by prominent party leaders.

The newly created directorates are Finance Planning, Grassroots Engagement and Orientation, Special Duties, Campaign Planning, Agro Commodities and Civil Societies.

Another special directorate created by the ruling party is the Presidential Campaign Council Members, to accommodate some stakeholders.

Stakeholders in that category are all APC NWC members, all APC National Assembly Members, all Federal Executive Council Members, all APC former Governors and Deputy Governors, all former APC NWC members and all APC serving members of its National Executive Committee NEC.

Others in the category also include all APC serving Speakers, Deputy Speakers and Principal Officers of State Assemblies, all APC former Speakers of State Assemblies, all APC National and State Assembly Candidates and all APC State Chairmen.

The party also expanded the Creative Arts Directorate from 20 actors to accommodate 11 additional celebrities.
