Super Eagles Forward, Moffi To Be Out For Two Weeks Amid Injury

Super Eagles forward, Terem Moffi will miss two weeks of action due to injury.

An update on the Nigerian international’s injuries has been provided by Ligue 1 club Lorient.

Moffi suffered an ankle sprain last weekend during Lorient’s home match against Stade de Reims, which caused many to worry that he might be sidelined for a long drawn period of time.

In the 25th minute, Mali international, Ibrahima Kone, took over for the Moffi.

However, Lorient announced that the 23-year-old will miss this weekend’s away game against Troyes and promised to provide an update on the injury.

The club website reads: “Terem Moffi, Sprained ankle. Current care. Absent next weekend in Troyes. The duration of unavailability will be specified according to the evolution, in the next few days,”

The Lorient matchups against Troyes and OGC Nice are now anticipated to be without the Nigerian forward who has scored 8 goals in 11 games for the club this season.
