Iya Gbonkan Opens Up On Encounter With Witches After Playing Roles In Movies

Popular actress, Margaret Bandele Olayinka, also known as Iya Gbonkan has opened up about the constant attack by witches in her dreams.

The actress, who is predominantly known for her roles as a witch in movies, during a recent interview noted that witches come to her in her dream due to the roles she plays in movies.

She added that when they tried to initiate her, but she refused, they resorted to attacking her.

This isn’t the first time the veteran actress is lamenting over witch attack; she had revealed some time ago how a witch had tried to initiate her into their coven.

Meanwhile, veteran actress, Idowu Philips, popularly known as Iya Rainbow, has opened up on how the fear of her inability to cater for five children after her husband’s death pushed her to ask that they be buried alongside their father.

The veteran actress made this known during an interview with BBC Yoruba, where she disclosed that people started to disrespect her and call her ‘Idowu’ due to her husband’s death.

She said she suffered to train her five children, adding that nobody hustled more than her.

‘For me to cater to five children with no husband and they went to school, graduate, you should know that it is not easy,’ she said.

Narrating how her husband died, the 80-year-old stated that he was sick for two years before he later died in 1984.

She said her children were still very young at the time and that was when her problem started.

Iya Rainbow added that when they brought the children to her, she asked that they buried the children alongside her late husband.
