Buhari To Inaugurate APC Campaign Council, Unveil Tinubu’s Manifesto On Friday

President Muhammadu Buhari will on Friday inaugurate the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for the 2023 elections.

Naija News recalls that the inauguration which was earlier fixed for Monday, September 26 was shifted to Wednesday, September 28, before it was postponed indefinitely.

Speaking during an interview, the Spokesman of the ruling APC, Felix Morka, said the campaign council was postponed indefinitely in order to accommodate new members.

Morka stated that the council has been expanded which would guarantee the success of its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, in the 2023 elections.

In a terse statement on Tuesday, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Lagos State, Gboyega Akosile, said President Buhari would inaugurate the Campaign Council at the State House in Abuja.

Aksoile stated that the Nigerian leader would also unveil the manifesto of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He wrote, “Flash: President Muhammadu Buhari will on Friday at the State House, Abuja, unveil the manifesto and policy document of All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and inaugurate the Campaign Council.

“We Supported You Before” – Tinubu Makes Fresh Promise To Buhari

Meanwhile, the APC Presidential candidate has promised that his support for President Buhari won’t end when the President’s tenure expires in 2023.

Tinubu who praised Buhari for his roles and efforts in repositioning Nigeria said he has always supported him before he became President and won’t stop doing so when his tenure ends.

The former Lagos State Governor made the submission on Tuesday while speaking at the ongoing 3-day ministerial retreat for Ministers and Permanent Secretaries in Abuja.

A statement from his media office signed by Tunde Rahman quoted Tinubu as saying Buhari set Nigeria on the right path “after years of maladministration.”

Tinubu promised to always be a friend and ally of Buhari in and out of office.
