After Ballon d'Or, Osimhen Nominated For 2023 Best FIFA Men's Player Award

Roberto Calenda, Victor Osimhen’s agent, has refuted numerous transfer rumours that linked the Super Eagles striker to various clubs.

Naija News recalls that the Nigerian International was on Manchester United‘s radar during the summer transfer window, after Anthony Martial was injured and Cristiano Ronaldo insisted on leaving the club.

The Super Eagles Talisman has made himself a key player for Luciano Spalletti, having joined Napoli from Lille in 2020.

The striker has appeared in 57 games for Napoli and scored 27 goals in the league.

Calenda, while speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss said, “There are many clubs interested in Victor but he wants to stay, he’s really happy with the Napoli project.”

“We’ve been very clear this summer after strange rumours [Manchester United and Ronaldo swap deal], he wanted to stay,” Osimhen’s agent added.

This season in the Italian top flight, the Super Eagles striker has three goals in six games.
