Ooni Of Ife Officially Marries Third Wife, Tobi Philips (Video)

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, on Sunday officially married his third wife, Tobi Philips.

Naija News reports that the palace of the Ooni, at IIe-Ife, Osun State would be filled with a lot of activities this month as the reverend monarch will be taking several wives and celebrating his birthday.

On Sunday, the Ooni welcomed his latest wife, Tobi Philips to the palace amidst friends including family members who were also in attendance for the special occasion.

Tobi has reportedly been dating the Yoruba traditional monarch for over six years before her official traditional marriage yesterday.

Ooni Of Ife Set For Another Grand Style Wedding

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogwunwusi, is also preparing for another grand-style wedding in a few days.

The monarch would be legally wedding queen Ashley Afolashade Adegoke who has been romantically linked with him for a long time.

The event would hold on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Enuwa square, the palace of the imperial majesty, IIe Ife, Osun State.

Ashley is a chartered accountant and also has a passion for serving the less privileged kids and widows through the Ashley Adegoke Foundation

She bagged a degree in Accounting and a Master’s in Accounting and Finance from the University of Greenwich, United Kingdom.

Ooni Of Ife Welcomes His New Queen

In September 2022, the Ooni welcomed his new wife, Olori Mariam Anako into the palace of the Oduduwa.

Ooni’s new marriage comes barely seven months after his estranged wife, Naomi Silekunola announced their separation on social media.

This publication gathered that the arrangements for the new marriage started in March when Ooni sent a high-powered delegation to her family to request her hand in marriage.

The Ooni’s new wife is reportedly an Ebira lady in Kogi State, her mother hails from Erin-Ile in Kwara and her family lives in Ilorin.
