Moffi’s Brace Help Lorent Level Points With PSG
On Sunday, Super Eagles forward Terem Moffi scored twice to help Lorient defeat Brest 2-1 in Ligue 1.
Naija News earlier reported that the Nigerian striker who could not score the last time out was looking forward to topping his sixth goal for his French side at the Stade Francis Le Blé.
17 minutes after Kickoff, Brest took the lead thanks to Roman Del Castillo’s strike.
Seven minutes later, Moffi helped his team respond to the goal when he found the back of the net, helping them level on the scoresheet.
At the 53-minute mark, the 23-year-old scored the winning goal.
Eight goals have been scored by the forward for his team this season in 10 league games. The Nigerian is currently tied with Kylian Mbappe and Neymar for the most goals in Ligue 1.
Paris Saint-Germain, the league’s reigning champion, is now one point ahead of Brest in the standings.
