Pep Guardiola’s men continued their unbeaten run in the Premier League as they strolled against Southampton at the Etihad Stadium.

With 4-0 victory over the Saints, City have now scored 33 goals in nine league games, 13 more than Arsenal, who are in second place.

20 minutes after the kickoff, Joao Cancelo scores the game’s first goal after Phil Foden squares the ball to him close to the halfway line. The full-back then charges forward and beats goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu with a beautiful strike.

Twelve minutes later, Kevin De Bruyne slid in Phil Foden as Man City sliced through Southampton, and Foden took the ball in stride and chipped it over Gavin Bazunu.

Southampton defended well, but the city were dominant all through.

In the opening of the second half, Riyad Mahrez receives a pass from Rodri at the back post, and the winger coolly volleys it into the far corner.

Joao Cancelo’s dragback was successfully converted by Erling Haaland who sealed the victory for the citizens
