Labour Party Floors APC In Edo Senatorial Election Tribunal

The state secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Enugu chapter has reportedly been taken over by the Labour Party (LP) in the state.

According to a report by Daily Post, the APC in the state has been battling various crises.

Things have been on edge following the emergence of Barr. Ugochukwu Agballah as the State chairman.

Some weeks back, a delegation of prominent party stakeholders visited the secretariat and demanded the constitution of a caretaker committee.

However, Agballah refused to comply with the demands of the delegation including the Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama and a former Senate President, Senator Ken Nnamani.

After assuming his position as the state chairman, Agballa has been operating from the South-East zonal office of the party.

Not long ago, the owner of the building housing the APC’s State Secretariat, located at No 126 Park Avenue, GRA Enugu, dragged the party to court over rent issues.

LP has now unveiled the same building as its State Secretariat.

Deputy Governor Of Lagos State Sends Stern Warning To Obi Supporters

The Deputy Governor of Lagos state, Obafemi Hazmat has sent a stern warning to the supporters of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

Hazmat in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Tunde Alao, warned Obidients to desist from using his son for cheap publicity.

Naija News reports that a purported picture of Hamzat’s son at an Obidient rally went viral on the Nigerian internet space.

However, Hazmat said that the boy in question is not his son and they are not in any way related.

Alao insisted that the picture was an attempt to soil the image of the deputy governor and cause friction between him and his supporters.
