[BREAKING] #NigeriaDecides: Labour Party DG Loses Ekiti LGA Votes To Tinubu

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has revealed that the results of the forthcoming 2023 general elections will not be based on ethnicity, religion, or connections.

According to him, the outcome of the elections will rather be based on competence, capacity and character, as well as commitment to start doing the right things so as not to only secure, but to also unite and build cohesion in the country.

Obi, who said this in Ibadan, Oyo state capital after his meeting with the State Governor, Seyi Makinde, noted that the monitisation of the political space in Nigeria has contributed to part of the nations woes.

He said that monies being shared freely is not only a contributing factor to the joblessness in the society, but also meant to be used to better lives of Nigerians by investing them in other sectors like education, health and the likes.
