Keyamo Reacts As Obi Vows To Challenge Presidential Election Process

The Spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo, has reacted to the Bloomberg poll, giving the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, a clear lead, ahead of the 2023 election.

Naija News earlier reported that the poll which was conducted by Premise Data Corporation for Bloomberg News and published, Wednesday showed that Obi is the candidate most Nigerians prefer to clinch the presidency.

The poll surveyed 3,973 Nigerians from September 5-20, and respondents to the app-based poll were selected from quotas developed by age, gender and location across the country’s six geopolitical zones.

It also added that results were weighed against the original quotas to ensure national representation, noting that about 44% of Nigerians own smartphones, according to the Alliance for Affordable Internet.

The report also said that the All Progressives Congress and People’s Democratic Party’s performance were not so favourable.

This Is The Most Delusional Poll

Keyamo in a statement shared on his Twitter page faulted the reports, stating that more than 95% of Nigerians do not have access to the app used in conducting the poll.

The APC Chieftain claims that the method of polling lacks credibility compared to sending surveyors out into the field.

He tweeted: “The report of @BloombergAfrica said it used an APP to conduct an opinion poll in Nig. where more than 95% don’t have access to such apps. This style is even lower in credibility than when you send people to the field. This is the most delusional poll I have seen since I was born”
