Five Nigerian Celebrities Who Have Been Blackmailed With S3x Tape

Some Nigerian celebrities have been faced with the issue of blackmail and smear campaigns, notwithstanding, they tried their best in preserving their public image.

Tiwa Savage

1. Tiwa Savage: In 2021, the female sensational singer, during an interview, alleged that some individuals had her sex tape and were demanding money from her.

Tiwa Savage refused to succumb to the threats just for doing something natural and a few days later, a video of an unclad lady made rounds online with many suggesting it was the singer.

While many netizens criticised the singer, others wondered how the s3x tape found its way online.

Tonto Dikeh

2.  Tonto Dikeh: It will not be out of place to say the single mother of one is unlucky with men, especially with her last messy relationship breakup with Delta State politician, Prince Kpokpogri.

Tonto took to social media to cry out over threats by Kpokpogri to release her s3x tape, claiming that he had several s3x tapes of ladies he had dated in the past.

Toke Makinwa

3. Toke Makinwa: In 2020, Toke Makinwa was threatened by some individuals who claimed to have some of her nude photos.

The media personality took to her Instagram page to share the content of the email she received from the unidentified person, demanding a huge sum of money from her.

However, luck ran out of the blackmailers as the said unclad snaps were edited photos of Toke in a swimsuit which she posted in 2018.

Salawa Abeni

4. Salawa Abeni: In 2020, veteran Nigerian singer, Salawa Abeni, popularly called Waka Queen, was also threatened by a blackmailer claiming to have her unclad photos.

Abeni shared screenshots of her conversation with the blackmailer online after he demanded money or would make the photos go viral.

It was later discovered that a 19-year-old was behind the blackmail and he was arrested.

Jane Mena

5. Jane Mena: Popular married dancer, Jane Mena, became an internet sensation after Tonto Dike claimed that her ex-boyfriend, Kpokpogri had videos of them sleeping together.

Jane Mena refuted the claims and dared Tonto to release the s3x tape, not too long, an audio recording of Kpokpogri attesting to sleeping with the married dancer went viral online.
