2023: Nigeria Cannot Be Left To An Inexperienced Politician – Tinubu
Remi, wife of the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has advised Nigerians not to vote for an inexperienced politician in the 2023 presidential election.
Mrs Tinubu stated that the county needs an experienced leader like his husband in 2023, stressing that Nigeria is too important to be left in the hands of a novice.
The Senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District made this known while speaking at the APC Young Leaders’ Summit in Abuja on Sunday.
Represented by Nana Shettima, wife of the APC vice presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima, Mrs Tinubu said her husband is the right person to succeed President Muhaammadu Buhari.
She stated that the APC presidential candidate has a track record of supporting young people and will continue to support Nigerian youths to harness their potential.
She said: “Right from the formation of the APC, young people have been at the forefront of promoting our party and our candidates. Even now, with campaigns yet to kick off, the youth energy can be felt with the many youth-led initiatives promoting the candidature of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.
“I hereby urge all our youth leaders and youth-focused support groups, many of whom are represented here today, to ensure that efforts to mobilise support for the Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign are targeted at the grassroots – right from our polling units to our wards and local governments – as that is where the real voters are.”
