Tinubu: Keyamo Dares Atiku, Obi To Produce Ten Youths Appointed While In Government

The spokesman for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign, Festus Keyamo, has challenged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi to produce ten young people they groomed in politics.

Keyamo stated this during an interview with Naija News, stressing that Bola Tinubu has a good track record of youths’ inclusiveness in governance.

The Minister of State for Labour and Employment said Tinubu’s appointment while he was Lagos Governor were mostly young people who have grown to become great men in political space.

According to him, there is no controversy regarding Tinubu’s ability to identify with the talents of the youths and use them for critical positions.

He further advises the youths that there is no need to fear or join the ‘Japa’ syndrome because Asiwaju is concerned about the youth of the country.

Keyamo also took a swipe at Atiku and Obi, challenging them to point out or count at least ten young people they appointed while in government.

In his words: “All you need to do, to know the position of Asiwaju on the youths of this country is to go back and look at the track records. When he was the governor of Lagos State, most of the appointments he made were for young people who have grown up to become great men today, I don’t think there is any controversy with Tinubu’s ability to identify the talents of young people and use them in critical positions.

“Babajide Fashola became the chief of staff, to the governor and Tinubu also picked him to be governor of Lagos State. Most of the commissioners there today are very young men at that time. Mamora who was the speaker of the House of Assembly then, I don’t think the youths of the country should have any fear at all.

“Asiwaju is concerned about the youths of the country. Now look at the all candidates, show me or count ten people that they brought up or appointed while in government and have grown today in politics whether Peter Obi or Atiku, nowhere, does the track record of these candidates speak better for them than some of the sweet tongues that some of them are using.”
