Soludo Reacts To Attack On Ifeanyi Ubah’s Convoy
Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has condemned the attack on the lawmaker representing Anambra South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.
Naija News had reported earlier that unknown gunmen on Sunday ambushed the lawmaker’s convoy in Enugwu Ukwu community, Njikoka Local Government Area of the state.
Some aides and security agents attached to the businessman were reportedly killed with many injured during the deadly attack.
However, the lawmaker managed to escape with his bulletproof car.
In a statement by his Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, Soludo said his administration was fully determined to wipe out every act of criminality in the state.
Governor Soludo described the attack as the “last ditched-effort of a sinking boat” by criminal elements terrorising the state.
He reassured the people that all security agencies were on full alert to fish out the perpetrators of the heinous attack who would be made to face the full wrath of the law.
Soludo commiserated with the senator and the families of his aides killed as well as the state commissioner of police, for the policemen who also lost their lives.
2023: Dele Alake Reveals Tinubu’s Source Of Wealth
The Director of Strategic Communication of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Dele Alake has claimed the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, was not a pauper before politics.
Naija News reports that Alake made this known during an interview on Channels Television, stating that Tinubu has been trading in stocks over the years to build his wealth.
This is coming amidst the controversy that has trailed Tinubu’s sources of wealth, ahead of the 2023 general election.
However, Alake said Tinubu was not a pauper before he ventured into politics as he has contributed to political organisation and causes before contesting the Lagos West Senatorial election in 1991.
According to him, Tinubu has been making and spending money over the years, hence wondering why people are querying his source of wealth.
