Shade Ladipo Knocks Three ‘Big Singers’ Who Failed To Acknowledge Their Headies Awards

Media personality, Shade Ladipo, has dragged three big artistes who failed to acknowledge their wins at the Headies awards.

Naija News recalls the music award ceremony held in Atlanta, USA last weekend and some Nigerian celebrities stormed the event.

In a post shared on her Instastories, Shade, who failed to mention the names of the popular singers said if they had won the Grammy or Bet, they would make plans to attend the event.

She added that media mogul, Ayo Animashaun has built the industry and it is evident considering what many Nigerian singers are reaping and enjoying.

She wrote: “I think it’s very disrespectful that your big 3 artistes didn’t even acknowledge their wins at the Headies this year. The work of people like Ayo Animashaun has built this very industry, your faves are reaping and enjoying today.

“If it was Grammy or Bet they will be ruining Kitika to attend. Put some respect on the names of the people who paved and are paving way for you.”

Waje Heaps Praises On Davido

Meanwhile, veteran Nigerian award-winning singer, Waje, has showered praises on her colleague David Adeleke popularly called Davido for honouring her.

Naija News reports that Waje in a post shared on Twitter on Sunday recounted how she walked out of a place feeling honoured and with a pair of beautiful diamond earrings because of Davido’s kind words.

While describing Davido as a gift, the singer said she has been in the music industry for a long time to know that not everyone would honour or speak well about her in her absence.

She wrote: “Imagine walking out of a place feeling, honoured, and with a pair of beautiful diamond earrings cos of @davido’s kind words about u. I’ve been in this game a long time, not every1 will honour u when you aren’t present in the room. David you are truly a gift”.
