2023: Nobody Can Buy Me – Gov Wike

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike on Tuesday warned that he can not be bought by anyone.

Wike’s statement is coming amidst the crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The PDP Governor in his statement challenged anyone to show him projects executed by the Federal Government in the state.

Wike further stated that the people of Rivers State since 1999 had given the PDP the highest vote.

The Rivers State Governor charged states in the country that had gathered more votes for PDP to come forward.

Governor Wike revealed what candidates as to do to gain the support of the Rivers people ahead of the 2023 general election.

According to Wike, candidates who want the votes of the Rivers people have to tell him what they will give to the people of the state.

He warned that the time is over for people using Rivers State and thinking that they don’t have anything to do with their money.

Wike noted that he has the interest of his people at heart, adding that he is not going after a federal position.

The Rivers State Governor added that they should forget votes from the state if they can not show him what is in it for Rivers People.

Wike stated this at the commissioning of the Etche campus of Rivers State University in the Etche local government area of the state.
