Shehu Sani Reacts As Tinubu Meets UAE Leadership Over Visa Ban, Others

Former federal lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has disclosed those who are responsible for the internal wrangling in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Naija News reports that the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike have been in a cold war following the outcome of the party’s presidential primary election.

Wike’s camp had called for the resignation of the party’s National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu as a condition for reconciliation between the duo.

However, Ayu has refused to resign, insisting that he will complete his four years tenure.

Reacting to the ongoing crisis via a post on his Facebook page, Sani said that the internal strife plaguing the opposition has the hand of external forces in it.

He argued that if stakeholders in the party fail to resolve the crisis in the coming weeks, they would jump into fire

He wrote, “What is happening in the PDP is unfortunate. The space for reconciliation appears to be very slim.

“Outside forces are fully involved. Though it is advised that everyone should refrain from making inflammatory statements, in the next few weeks, there will be no room for neutrality or silence.
