Nigerians Fault Ice Prince In Abduction Arrest

Reactions have trailed the arrest of Hip hop rapper and singer, Ice Prince fondly known as Ice Prince Zamani.

Naija News earlier reports that the 35-year-old rapper was arrested at wee hours on Friday for driving without license plates and abducting a police officer and would be arraigned in a Lagos court.

Speaking about the incident, Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin said that the rapper after being caught driving without a license, assaulted the officer who confronted him, threatening to throw him into river.

Sharing photo of the rapper on the microblogging platform, Twitter, Ben wrote; ”At 3am today, @Iceprincezamani was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station. He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today.”
