He Does Not Plan On Burying Shettima – Adamu Garba Speaks On Tinubu’s Absence In NBA Conference
Former All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, has reacted to the backlash following the absence of the party’s flag bearer, Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, 62nd conference.
Recall that Naija News reported that Tinubu was represented by the party’s vice presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima.
Nigerians however, faulted the former governor’s absence from the event that took place in his city.
Speaking on the incident via Twitter, Garba said that Tinubu has shown that he would not run a megalomaniac leadership.
He argued that Tinubu plans on running an inclusive leadership.
He explained that the APC standard bearer does not plan on burying Shettima or keep him hidden instead he plans on including him in running the country.
He wrote: “Tinubu absent, Tinubu absent. You guys don’t understand the true meaning of inclusive leadership.
“Unlike others, Tinubu clearly shows that he’s not planning to be a megalomaniac leader who should bury his Vice just to be everywhere, he trusts @KashimSM to deliver. No vacuum at all.”
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi spoke at the event.
